Izmailov talked about his business and his life

We invite you to read a summary of the interview given by Nykyta Izmailov, the owner of a sports bank and H1 fund that owns many companies.

What markets do you prefer?

Most of all I liked the markets of the former Soviet Union. All the risks associated with it are clear. Eastern Europe is very interesting. Their location in Europe. The level of buyer's potential here is much higher than in Ukraine. Revolut, N26 are considered to be big enough players. But they have not managed to enter Ukraine yet. It turns out that service is at a low level there. We can observe the work of minor companies. The history of information systems since 2000. But there is a demand for paid services.

Do you want to live on your own in Eastern Europe?

There is no such a need yet. Ukraine is not a place you need to devote most of your time to.

Where would you like to visit for a while?

I'm very excited about Italy. When winter comes, there is a desire to go skiing. In summer, there is a desire to swim. In between seasons, it's better to do some meditation.

Maybe something good can be found in California in Silicon Valley?

For now, those countries don't interest me. I don't want to be an entrepreneur here. California is not interested in anything. There are two hypostases. You can go to the country as a startup. Or you can go as an aspiring middle-of-the-road fisherman.

Which mid-market funds do you prefer?

Fredom Finance specialists continue to work in Kazakhstan. They have a good position in Russia. In Ukraine this business is just beginning to open. Fredom Finance's specialists provide brokerage services and are engaged in trading. The company was started by Timur Turlov. He managed to achieve everything on his own. At first he worked as a broker for some time. He created NASDAQ. At the age of thirty, he already had his own business, his own idea. Fred can be considered a motivating enterprise.

Examples like Bezos and Musk you don't want to pay attention to. It was very cool. You never know who's leading these people. A man who has been divorced several times cannot be happy.

Sergei Tokarev of ReFace continues to surprise. It takes a lot of effort for a team to develop their structure. These guys are developing artificial intelligence. Specialists are working on creating hackathons. The philosophical meaning of their goal is to leave their mark after their activities. They have a specific mission.

Do you have such a mission?

It certainly does. However, it has nothing to do with fintech. Its purpose is to promote health and wellness. There is one company. Its name is Eat Easy. The company creates healthy organic drinks. It uses tea mushroom, kombucha, and sea rice to create them. The drinks contain almost no sugar. For example, cola contains about ten grams of sugar. The mushroom is able to process the entire amount of sugar. About one hundred thousand bottles are produced per month. When you reach a million bottles, you can talk about a competitor. The main goal is to beat Coke.

What do you think when it's eighty. Perhaps thoughts will come that, thanks to a lot of effort, sugar hasn't been eaten?

How do you keep in shape? Maybe you like sports?

If you have free time, thirty percent of it should be devoted to sports. Every morning workout lasts almost three hours. There is constant running, fighting excess weight, stretching. Thanks to this complex, you feel the fullness of life. The work of the brain continues.
